We were pleased to participate in AIPAD 2024, where we exhibited works by Bill Armstrong, Doug & Mike Starn, Oli Kellett, Sharon Walters, Nadezda Nikolova, Alys Tomlinson, J.D. Okhai Ojeikere, Katja Liebmann and Malick Sidibe.
AIPAD 2024 was Sharon Walters HackelBury debut, whose hand-assembled collages celebrate the contributions of black women, delving into their history, vibrant culture, and multifaceted identities. Through her art, Walters explores themes of identity and representation through fragile and detailed paper cut-outs and collages, creating multi-layered portraits in which she, literally and metaphorically, opens up space.
