We were pleased to have participated in AIPAD 2024, where we exhibited works by Bill Armstrong, Doug & Mike Starn, Oli Kellett, Sharon Walters, Nadezda Nikolova, Alys Tomlinson, J.D. Okhai Ojeikere, Katja Liebmann, and Malick Sidibe.

 

This year HackelBury also debuted artist Sharon Walters, whose hand-assembled collages celebrate the contributions of black women, delving into their history, vibrant culture, and multifaceted identities. ⁠Through her art, Walters explores themes of identity and representation through fragile and detailed paper cut-outs and collages, creating multi-layered portraits in which she, literally and metaphorically, opens up space.
