HackelBury will be participating in AIPAD 2024. We will be exhibiting works by Bill Armstrong, Doug & Mike Starn, Oli Kellett, Sharon Walters, Nadezda Nikolova, Alys Tomlinson, J.D. Okhai Ojeikere, Katja Liebmann and Malick Sidibe.
HackelBury will be debuting artist Sharon Walters, whose hand-assembled collages celebrate the contributions of black women, delving into their history, vibrant culture, and multifaceted identities. Through her art, Walters explores themes of identity and representation through fragile and detailed paper cut-outs and collages, creating multi-layered portraits in which she, literally and metaphorically, opens up space.
