Big Bambú

Doug and Mike Starn's Big Bambú series is a large-scale, immersive, and evolving art installation that explores themes of interconnectedness, chaos, and structure. The series is built from thousands of bamboo poles lashed together with nylon rope, forming expansive, organic structures that resemble a living, growing organism. These installations often invite audience participation, allowing visitors to walk through, climb, and interact with the sculpture, further emphasising the idea of constant change and evolution.
