Under the Sky

The Under the Sky series explores the Starns' ongoing fascination with constant movement, change, and transformation. The physicality of their artworks—such as the scotch-taping of photographic pieces together—serves as a reflection of time passing. The incorporation of dust, debris, and discoloration into the work speaks to the inevitable transformation of the photographs over time.
