Muhammad Ali, The Greatest - Film Screening at Ciné Lumière: HackelBury in collaboration with L'Institut Français Royaume-Uni.
During our William Klein: 100 exhibition, we are delighted to be presenting a special film focus on William Klein in partnership with L'Institut Français Royaume-Uni.
Muhammad Ali, The Greatest
William Klein's documentary follows the legend himself, alongside the people and the media which contributed to his meteoric rise over a couple of decades. The second half, shot in colour, turns to his emergence as an increasingly politicised public figure during a period of fast changing cultural landscapes within the USA - focusing on his refusal to serve in the Vietnam War and the stripping of his world title.
When: Screenings on the 11th of October at 2pm and the 13th of October at 6pm.
Where: Ciné Lumière, 17 Queensberry Place, South Kensington, London, SW7 2DW
